A Professional Journalist reports events in a timely manner to the local, provincial, national and international levels. Reporting involves the gathering of information through interviewing and research, the results of which are turned into a fair and balanced story for publication or for television or radio broadcast.

To apply to be a Professional Journalist you must:

* be published by a reputable source
(i.e. CBS, Peterson Publishing, etc.)

* provide verifiable references of publication and/or employment.

* be a journalist/photographer/videographer/production staff or other relevant media member.

* submitt your application with copies of your work for review.
